Tho the term is new, but the action isn't, long since the days of our great grand parents have men been having concubines, girlfriends and so on outside of their marriages. However you see it, for the side chick in question there will always be trust issues in such a relationship....
So below I'm listing 10 reasons why you don't want to be a Side chick!
1) Most men will never leave their wives- statistics has shown that, no matter how much issue a man is having with his wife, it is very rear that they leave their wives because of a side chick or someone else, a man leaves the marriage because he has made the decision to leave for him self and usually not because of another person. So if you are hoping, you might just be hoping for eternity.
2) Trust issues- So say you were one of the very very few that a man left his wife for, the fact that the man can leave another woman to be with you, means he can also leave you to be with another woman, the trust issues will always be there. To have a solid relationship you must have trust!
3) Lust not Love- Most of such type relationship is the man trying to fulfill some pent up desires he might not be willing to display with his wife out of respect for her, and therefore, looks for a guinea pig to use for experimentation after all, nothing's lost, no hard feelings, he sees you as a side chick
4) Having Multiple girlfriends- News flash, if you think you are the only girlfriend he's with, sorry to burst your bubble, he's also with Megan, Mary, Jennifer and Tope!
5) Lies/Deciet -Such type men are good liars, imagine the amount of energy it takes to come up with different stories to his wife to keep up an affair, this is not the type of man that one should be running after, because if he can lie to his wife, he can lie to you
6) financial Instability- such men usually have unstable finances. He might be spending money on you now, but that is money he's taking out of his household budget for children's feeding, clothing, school fees etc. due to multiple spendings on several girlfriends it's hard for them ever to be financially balanced.
7) Midlife Crises- most of this married men could be going through a stage in life where they are experiencing midlife crises. This is a stage where the older man realizes life is short and missing out of things he hoped to accomplish back in his college days, reverts back to that time. So whether it is having multiple girlfriends or buying a sports car or being the life of the party, he then becomes that so that life doesn't pass him by, this has nothing to do with the so called side chick
8) Selfish Reasons- have you ever heard the saying that men are like over grown babies, that is true to some certain extent. They sometimes want what they want when they want it and how they want it. This is all impulse it has nothing to do with love and building a strong relationship foundation.
9) Morally Wrong- The bible simply says do not covet another man's wife, this saves the side chick from emotional disappointment and problems. You deserve to have your own man who will love you and cherish you. You shouldn't allow yourself to be second best, trust and believe this and the right man will come for you!
10) Wasted Time- Every new day that comes, means you as a side chick you are getting older while waiting for a man who may or may not leave his wife. This could leave you with serious emotional issues, it also blocks the right man from coming to you because the married man is taking up all your precious time and energy. Girl be wise!
