Ladies, beware of African men deceiving women in the name of Love to come to the United States....

A good friend of mine, a US Visa Agent, recently sent me a text on a man asking her to hook him up with any woman in the States, whether American or African so that he can come over to the United States. He goes on to tell her how desperately he wanted to leave Nigeria and how he's heard that he can find a woman to bring him to the US fast.

Obviously, the whole thing was perplexing to my friend which shall remain nameless for now. We went on to talk about stories of Nigerian friends and neighbors who had been deceived in the name of love to bring either their man or woman over to the US, only to have their partners requesting for a divorcee after receiving a US green card.

This is sad but true and a growing trend among our Nigerian brothers and sisters desperate to leave the hardship of  Nigerian in search for greener pastures oversees and they are willing to tell lies of love and be deceitful to their American potential partners to get what they want.....so to my African brothers and sisters oversees, choose wisely....
