Another wife of a Nigerian Ebola survivor deliver a bouncing baby girl
The CDC states on the Ebola virus that, Ebola is a rare and deadly disease caused by infection with a strain of Ebola virus. The 2014 Ebola epidemic is the largest in history, affecting multiple countries in West Africa.
WHO reports that the Ebola virus is transmitted to people from wild animals and can also be spread in human populations from people to people transmission. On the heels of this reports, it is definitely a cause of concern for people at large due how fast and deadly this virus is.
On recent developments, a Nigerian, male Ebola survivor, one Mr Adewale Adejoro and wife welcomed a healthy Ebola-free baby girl. Opeyemi J. Adejoro, who was delivered at, 7:24pm on Tuesday, at the First Consultant Medical Centre, Lagos. Weighing about 3kg at birth, the baby girl was a product of a term gestation and was delivered following strict guidelines and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), USA, through the pre-natal and delivery stages.
In November 2015, First Consultant Medical Centre celebrated Dr Ada Igonoh’s safe delivery of a baby girl in the United States. The Adejoro’s baby girl is actually the second baby delivered by a survivor of the dreaded Ebola disease in Nigeria.
