Eryka Badu throws major shade at Iggy Azalea at the 2015 Soul Train Awards

Last night, Eryka Badu, hosted the Soul Train Awards 2015 show, but quickly throws major shade at Australian rapper Iggy Azalea essentially saying she was not considered a rapper, this drew a loud, stunned reaction from the crowd, mostly laughter. she started off by banning all rappers; Speaking on the phone, she pretends to turn away André 3000 and Young Thug from the ceremony, saying she's "banning all rap this year." When Azalea calls, though, Badu makes an exception: "No no no, you can come, 'cause what you're doing is definitelynot rap." 

Elsewhere in the show, Kendrick Lamar won Best Song for "Alright", Jidenna took Best New Artist, and the Weeknd was awarded R&B/Soul Male Artist of the Year and Best Album for Beauty Behind the Madness.
