The PDP are charging the newly sworn in minsters under the Buhari administration to immediately start on economical reform and start tackling the economical issues of the nation instead of focusing too much on the pagentary and hoopla of the Inauguration proceedings.
Mr Methu also goes on to point out discrepancies in the statements given by President Buhari and his Minister of Information Alhaji LaI Mohammad-
He said, “Whereas President Buhari had announced that the nation is bankrupt to the extent that he cannot pay his ministers, his new Minister of Information had contradicted him directly by stating how the government is buoyant and ready to deploy $2.5 billion infrastructure fund, saved N1.4 trillion with another N2.5 trillion ready as special intervention fund, which goes to say that the country is not actually broke.
“These new ministers should note the challenge before them regarding the image of the country which the APC government has changed from being the ‘Heart of Africa’ and a country of ‘Good people, Great nation’ to that of ‘Corrupt people, Broke nation.’
He also went on to advice the newly appointed ministers that the campaigns are over and here and now the real work begins in turning the current tide both in the economy and government. He also goes on to say that Nigerians will no longer tolerate a corrupt, lying and lazy administrations, and their job as newly appointed government officials was to restore confidence back to it's people by evidence of work in areas that mostly impact the economic state of things positively.
